Lexington-Fayette County Health Department Announces Free Flu Shot Clinics on October 1

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is hosting free flu shot clinics on October 1, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, or until supplies run out, to help protect our community this flu season. These clinics will offer free flu shots to residents at four convenient locations simultaneously across Lexington.

Clinic Locations:

  • Consolidated Baptist Church Gym – 1625 Russell Cave Road, Lexington, KY 40505
  • Central Baptist Church Gym – 110 Wilson Downing Rd, Lexington, KY 40517
  • Southland Christian Church Parking Lot – 2349 Richmond Rd, Lexington, KY 40502
  • Bluegrass Community & Technical College (BCTC), Leestown Campus – 164 Opportunity Way, Lexington, KY 40511

Registration is recommended for all attendees and is required to guarantee a high-dose vaccine (for those 65 and older), as supplies are limited.

Link to registration will be available one week before the events.

The flu vaccine is a safe and effective way to reduce the risk of influenza and its complications. The Health Department encourages everyone aged 6 months and older to get vaccinated. El Departamento de Salud de Lexington-Condado de Fayette Anuncia Clínica Gratuita para la Vacuna de la Influenza el 1ro de Octubre

El Departamento de Salud de Lexington-Condado de Fayette está organizando clínicas gratuitas de vacunación contra la influenza (gripe) el 1 de octubre de 2025, de 3:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m., o hasta que se agoten los suministros, para ayudar a proteger a nuestra comunidad en esta temporada de la influenza. Estas clínicas ofrecerán vacunas gratuitas contra la influenza (gripe) simultáneamente en cuatro ubicaciones convenientes a través de Lexington.
