TUBERCULOSIS
TB testing is available by appointment only at the Public Health Clinic, 650 Newtown Pike. TB tests have a small fee, and Medicaid, cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Please call (859) 288-2483 for an appointment and pricing.
The health department helps people receive testing for tuberculosis (TB). If a test is positive, the health department helps that person and all of their contacts, receive treatment and further testing. Children entering school for the first time may require a TB test if they have recently immigrated from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, or other countries with endemic tuberculosis.
