Last night, LFCHD’s own Coreise Johnson, Public Health Educator & Community Engagement Coordinator, received the 2026 Kentucky Black Pride Community Service Award!

For years, Coreise has partnered with Kentucky Black Pride to bring HIV prevention resources, education, and testing to our community, including a standout presentation at their Women’s Health Summit encouraging women of color to prioritize their health. This honor reflects the compassion, expertise, and dedication she brings to public health every day.
