Free flu shots are now available by appointment at LFCHD’s Public Health Clinic, 650 Newtown Pike, Monday-Thursday by calling 859-288-2483.

 

The Lexington-Fayette County Health Department is also hosting a free flu shot clinic on October 22, 2026 at BCTC Newtown Campus, to help protect our community this flu season.

A limited number of  high-dose vaccines (for those 65 and older) will be available.

 

The flu vaccine is a safe and effective way to reduce the risk of influenza and its complications. The Health Department encourages everyone aged 6 months and older to get vaccinated. For more information, contact the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department at (859) 252-2371.
