Lex-CHIP celebrates Community Health Improvement Plan

The Lexington Community Health Improvement Partnership (Lex-CHIP) hosted a community celebration Feb. 12 to bring together community members to address key areas identified for improving public health in Lexington. You can view the recently unveiled plan here: 2025-2030 Lexington Community Health Improvement Plan.

During the event, attendees engaged in meaningful discussions on health and social issues, reinforcing the community’s dedication to improving knowledge empowerment, access to care, mental well-being and financial stability. The success of this gathering highlights Lexington’s collective commitment to driving positive change.

“We’re excited to build on this momentum and continue working toward a healthier Lexington,” said Jeanette Hart, quality services manager at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department and one of Lex-CHIP’s leaders. “This event was a powerful reminder that change happens when we come together.”

The conversation doesn’t stop here! The next Lex-CHIP meeting is noon-2 p.m. May 14 at Eastern State Hospital to collaborate on initiatives that strengthen our community’s health and well-being.
